CS2 players have discovered a game-breaking bug that grants them an unfair advantage by providing a clear view of the entire B bombsite on Nuke. This bug resembles the functionality of wallhacks, allowing players to see through walls and gain crucial information about the enemy’s position.
A video shared on Twitter showcases a competitive CS2 match where a CT player enters the vents and gains a perfect view of the B bombsite. This unintended glitch exposes the bombsite, revealing whether it is occupied or not, potentially compromising the element of surprise for the opposing team.
Although CS2 has not been in beta since September, players continue to uncover significant glitches across various maps. This particular bug differs from the console command exploit discovered in March, as it occurs spontaneously when players traverse the B bombsite vents on Nuke.
Prior to this discovery, players encountered another game-breaking bug known as the “air peek” or “turret peek.” This glitch allows players to float in mid-air after performing a boost, leading to creative strategies being employed on Vertigo.
These numerous glitches are being uncovered during the first major CS2 tournament, IEM Sydney, where professional players have expressed concerns about the game’s readiness for competitive play. ESL acknowledged the possibility of encountering bugs throughout the tournament, but fortunately, the games have not been affected by such glitches.
Now, it is crucial for Valve to promptly address these issues and release patches to rectify the game’s state. Both casual and professional players have expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of CS2, and their hopes lie in Valve’s swift action to improve the overall gameplay experience.
