Xavier Ward

The English version of the Pokémon TCG set “Scarlet and Violet Paradox Rift” is set to release alongside the Japanese set, featuring special illustration and ultra rare cards that fans are eager to obtain.

Prerelease events for SV04: Paradox Rift began on October 22, showcasing the special illustration rare cards included in the Pokémon TCG set. This English set is a compilation of cards from various Japanese sets such as Ancient Roar and Future Flash, Raging Surf, and Tera Mewtwo and Skeledirge ex decks. Any cards that didn’t make it into the Japanese sets, approximately 30 in total, will be released in an SV4.5 English set in January. The official release date for the Paradox Rift set is November 3.

The Pokémon TCG Scarlet and Violet Paradox Rift set contains a total of 84 secret rares, which are essentially ultra rare cards. Additionally, the English set features special illustration rare cards that will likely be the most sought-after cards to pull from SV04: Paradox Rift. There are also 20 ex cards in the set, increasing in value within the TCG market.

Here are some of the most expensive Pokémon TCG Paradox Rift cards:

1. Roaring Moon ex – A Dark Energy type Ancient with 230 HP and abilities like Frenzied Gouging and Calamity Storm. The Special Illustration Rare #251 variant is estimated to be valued at around $75.

2. Iron Valiant ex – A Psychic Energy type Future with 220 HP and a powerful Laser Blade attack. The Pokémon TCG Special Illustration Rare #249 variant is priced at approximately $50.

3. Iron Hands ex – A Basic Electric Pokémon with the Future type, boasting 230 HP and strong attack abilities like Arm Press and Amp You Very Much. The Special Illustration Rare #248 variant is currently valued at around $25.

Please note that these prices are estimations based on market values through TCGPlayer and may change leading up to the official release date of November 3.

As more packs are opened and the official release date approaches, additional Pokémon TCG Scarlet and Violet Paradox Rift cards will be added to the market.
