Although the full message remains encrypted, fans have managed to translate part of it as “msg: From Candy To Copper.” This has led some to believe that the message is hinting at an anniversary celebration.
As the sixth anniversary of Titanfall 2’s release approaches on October 28th, players anticipate a transition from “candy” to “copper.” Traditionally, candy or iron is exchanged on the sixth anniversary, while copper or wool is given on the seventh, according to Hallmark.
While fans hoped this encrypted message signaled a new addition to the Titanfall franchise, it seems more likely that it signifies Respawn’s continued support for the current Titanfall 2 community.
