Lords of the Fallen, the action RPG developed by Hexworks and published by CI Games, has defied its initial criticisms and achieved an impressive milestone of selling 1 million copies in just 10 days. Despite facing performance issues upon its release on Oct. 13, the game has garnered strong support from its dedicated fanbase.
In a press release, CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski expressed his gratitude for the success of Lords of the Fallen, stating that it is their “most important and ambitious game” to date. The game’s achievement of reaching 1 million sales in such a short period has been humbling for both Hexworks and CI Games.
Saul Gascon, the studio head for Hexworks, also extended his appreciation to the passionate Lords of the Fallen community for their invaluable feedback and ongoing support. He acknowledged their dedication as a crucial factor in the game’s success.
Despite encountering performance issues and glitches during its initial release, Hexworks has been proactive in addressing these concerns. Multiple game patches have been released to fix the problems, with the latest patch providing performance fixes for crossplay and enemy density. Additionally, the New Game Plus mode has been enhanced, offering players more options for customization.
Lords of the Fallen is available on various platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
