In November, Pokémon Go players can expect a relatively quiet month with limited new content and events. Niantic has released the calendar for the month, revealing a lack of exciting features for the final weeks of the ongoing season.
The November calendar includes Research Breakthroughs, Raids, and a few events. However, most of the Pokémon featured in these activities have been available to players multiple times in the past year. Only one new event is listed for the month.
Activity | Pokémon |
---|---|
Research Breakthroughs | Galarian Farfetch’d, Larvitar, Sableye, Bagon, Furfrou, Goomy (Shiny possible) |
Spotlight Hours | Chinchou, Buneary, Dunsparce, Lechonk (with varying bonuses) |
Mega Raids | Mega Banette, Mega Houndoom, Mega Kangaskhan (new Mega Evolution from Nov. 12-16) |
Five-star Raids | Swords of Justice (Virizion, Terrakion, Cobalion), Douse Drive Genesect |
Events | Festival of Lights, Fashion Week, Party Up! Event (Nov. 22-27) |
In addition to the events mentioned above, Niantic is focusing on PokéStop Showcases throughout November. These showcases will change weekly and feature Pokémon related to ongoing events. The Party Up! Event, taking place from Nov. 22-27, seems to encourage players to use the new “Party Play” feature, although details are currently unclear.
It’s worth noting that only the Day of the Dead event and November’s Community Day, featuring Johtonian Wooper and Paldean Wooper, have been fully revealed so far.
