Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the visuals in MGS Delta are truly awe-inspiring. The footage takes us back to the opening areas of the story, where we see Naked Snake (Big Boss) stealthily navigating through the Soviet Union’s swamps. The attention to detail is remarkable, with mud and water realistically dripping off Snake’s sneaking suit.
The wildlife of the jungle is also on full display, and players will be able to hunt and eat various creatures to replenish Snake’s stamina. From coral snakes to crabs, vultures, and fish in stunning water, there’s no shortage of food options for our hungry protagonist.
The footage even gives us a glimpse of the later stages of the game, as Snake ventures into the mountains towards Groznyj Grad’s base. We witness him hiding in tall grass, aiming his suppressed silencer at an unsuspecting enemy. The tension and excitement of the original game are beautifully captured in this remake.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is widely regarded as one of the best entries in the series, and fans hold it dear to their hearts. While the game receives significant visual upgrades, the original voiceover recordings will be retained, ensuring a nostalgic experience for players.
