Four-time CS:GO Major champion Magisk is set to leave Vitality and join Falcons, where he will reunite with legendary coach zonic for the start of the CS2 cycle. This roster change, reported by HLTV on Oct. 27, marks Magisk as the first CS2 player to join the Saudi organization Falcons, following the recent arrivals of zonic and performance coach Lars Robl.
Magisk’s name has been mentioned as one of the potential players that Falcons is signing to create a superteam for CS2. According to the HLTV Confirmed episode aired on Oct. 26, Falcons is also pursuing G2’s star NiKo and ENCE’s veteran in-game leader Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer. There is also a possibility that m0NESY will join Falcons if NiKo leaves G2.
If zonic and Robl are indeed building a superteam for Falcons, it makes perfect sense for Magisk to be their first addition. The Danish rifler has won three Majors under the Astralis banner and one Major under Vitality this year at the BLAST Paris event, all while playing under zonic’s guidance.
Magisk is not only one of the most successful CS:GO players ever, but he is also known for his versatility and ability to play difficult positions on the CT side. He is also a capable secondary shot-caller.
While Falcons has reportedly finalized a deal for Magisk and is in negotiations with more star players, it remains unclear who the organization will release to make room for these potential arrivals. Currently, the Saudi organization’s roster consists of NBK-, Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro, Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea, Miłosz “mhL” Knasiak, and Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas.
