After a disappointing season, one of Europe’s top League of Legends players may be seeking a fresh start next year. Reports suggest that veteran support Kaiser is set to join Team Heretics for the 2024 season. This move could bring more firepower to the team’s roster and potentially elevate them to championship contention.
In their debut year in the LEC, Team Heretics struggled to find consistency with their roster, resulting in inconsistent performances. Despite making multiple player swaps throughout the season, they fell short in the first two splits. However, their fortunes improved during the 2023 Summer Split after adding Flakked and Vetheo, finishing as the fourth-best team in the regular season. Although they were eliminated in the playoffs by Fnatic, the team’s progress gave fans hope for a stronger start in the upcoming year.
If Kaiser joins Team Heretics, his aggressive playmaking skills and veteran game knowledge could greatly enhance the team’s performance. Alongside Jankos, they could provide valuable guidance to the younger players, while Vetheo and Flakked continue to develop their skills and aim for higher rankings in the league. Evi, who faced criticism after a lackluster debut, could also have the opportunity to turn a new leaf after gaining more experience in the region.
It remains uncertain whether Team Heretics will part ways with any other players on their roster. However, according to the League global contract database, their four remaining starters are under contract until November 2024.
