Wasianiverson emerged victorious at the Runeterra Reforged Regional Finals, securing a spot at the Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Worlds Championship. The event featured 32 of the best North American TFT players competing for the remaining seeds at the World Championship.
Competitors from around the globe battled it out over the weekend, with Wasianiverson dominating the competition. He secured his Worlds seed by game four on the third day, boasting the best player points average. Not only did he secure the best placement, but he also emerged as the overall winner of the NA Regional Finals, passing on the best average placement to Torontotokyo.
Connerisme was the next player to qualify for TFT Worlds, earning his spot even before finishing game six. He ultimately won the sixth game, securing second place with 29 points. Tleyds tied with Connerisme in the overall standings, earning the final direct invite to represent NA at the Runeterra Reforged World Championship.
Unfortunately, Darth Nub, k3soju, and Rereplay missed the top three cut for Worlds. However, NA will still have a strong representation with five players defending the region’s title. Alongside Wasianiverson, Connerisme, Tleyds, and Torontotokyo, TL Kurumx will also join the NA roster as the winner of the Mid-Set Finale.
The NA region was able to send five players to Worlds as a bonus from Rereplay’s previous victory in Set Eight/8.5. Fans can look forward to watching the TFT Set Nine/9.5 World Championship from November 3 to 5.
