Heroic has announced the return of CadiaN to their starting lineup for the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Final in November. This marks the Danish captain’s final appearance with Heroic before his potential move to Team Liquid alongside Twistzz from FaZe Clan.
After being unexpectedly benched earlier this month, CadiaN will have the opportunity to showcase his skills one last time in front of fans at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. While Heroic has not confirmed CadiaN’s future plans, reports suggest that he is in talks to join Team Liquid.
The decision to bench CadiaN came after Heroic failed to secure a spot in the ESL Pro League season 18 playoffs, despite having a favorable draw. The organization had to choose between CadiaN and the rest of the team, as stavn and jabbi expressed their desire to remove him as captain.
However, it was later revealed that stavn and jabbi were interested in joining Astralis, forcing Heroic to temporarily bench them on October 25th. As a result, Heroic sought stand-ins from MOUZ’s academy team to complete their roster.
While CadiaN’s return is undoubtedly positive news for Heroic amidst the organizational turmoil, it also indicates that they were unable to convince him to stay after recent developments. It remains uncertain who else will join Heroic for the BLAST Premier Fall Final, as they have been playing with dupreeh, sjuush, TeSeS, Chr1zN, and sirah.
The BLAST Premier Fall Final, scheduled from November 22nd to 26th, will feature top teams such as Vitality, FaZe, Natus Vincere, Complexity, Astralis, Cloud9, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Heroic.
