Prepare for an epic crossover as the fearsome Sardaukar warriors from the sci-fi film Dune make their way to Call of Duty. The new Sardaukar operator skin will be available in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone stores starting November 1. Join the Imperium and unleash your inner warrior!
Activision announced this exciting collaboration on September 27, adding the Sardaukar operator skin to the long list of impressive collaborations in Call of Duty. Season six’s battle pass already features iconic villains and anti-heroes from Marvel Comics, including Spawn and the Violator. Players can also acquire other unique characters like Alucard and Lilith from Diablo 4.
The Sardaukar operator skin, along with all other operator and cosmetic items, will also be available in the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 3 through the “Carry Forward” program in November.
Dune (2021) was a highly successful and critically acclaimed movie that covered the first half of Frank Herbert’s renowned novel. Although the sequel was initially expected to be released in fall 2023, it has been delayed until early 2024. Fans eagerly await Dune: Part Two, and Call of Duty is capitalizing on the hype by introducing the Sardaukar operator skin.
While these collaborations between Call of Duty and major entertainment industry players continue to excite many, some fans express concerns that the game’s cosmetics may be straying too far from its original military aesthetics. Nevertheless, Activision’s recent moves suggest that more exciting surprises are on the horizon.
