Get ready to travel back in time as Fortnite Chapter Four, season five takes us back to where it all began. The latest map leaks reveal that we’ll be revisiting the original season seven map, with some exciting additions from seasons eight and nine.
The leaked screenshot, shared by StreamFNBR on Oct. 31, shows a map that closely resembles the season seven map when the snow area was first introduced. While not an exact replica, most of the original points of interest (POIs) are still there. However, there are a few notable differences. The snow region is smaller, making room for the return of Greasy Grove and Flush Factory, which were removed in the original version.
Unfortunately, Polar Peak and Happy Hamlet, previously located in the snowy region, are not marked on the map. This suggests that they may not be returning, at least in the early days of the season.
One exciting detail spotted by Reddit users is the presence of Loot Lake’s floating island, reminiscent of chapter one season six. During that season, the island rose from the water and traveled across the map, leading to the creation of cube monsters. Could we see their return as well?
The rest of the locations, from Junk Junction to Lucky Landing and Paradise Palms, will all be there for players to relive their old memories. Fans are thrilled about the return of these iconic POIs, expressing their excitement with comments like, “You’re just as beautiful as the day I lost you.” It’s safe to say that the next season of Fortnite will be a nostalgic blast from the past that fans have been eagerly anticipating for years.
