Gunfire Games has announced the release of the first DLC for Remnant 2, titled “The Awakened King.” This new content takes players back to the dark and gloomy streets of Losomn, where they will encounter a chained Nimue and witness the return of the One True King. The DLC features a vengeful king corrupted by the sinister Root, who launches a relentless campaign of retribution.
In Remnant 2, players initially find themselves in Losomn during the early days of its new ruler, Faerin or Faelin. However, the One True King is now determined to reclaim the throne, leading to a power struggle within the kingdom. The DLC introduces new dungeons with challenging bosses and enemies, the Ritualist Archetype, and powerful weapons and items for players to discover.
The Awakened King DLC will be available for pre-order on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $9.99, or as part of a bundle for $24.99. The bundle includes access to two additional DLC packs to be released next year. Players who own the Ultimate Edition of Remnant 2 will automatically unlock the DLC at no extra cost. The official release date for The Awakened King is November 14th.
