Apex Legends Season 19 Unveils Exciting Nessie Easter Egg

Derek Morgan

Apex Legends Season 19 introduces a delightful new Easter egg featuring the beloved character Nessie. By discovering one of the three hidden Nessie plushies in Wattson’s Pylon rooms and carrying it to victory against the final team, players are treated to a special surprise on the victory screen. Three Nessies gradually emerge from the bottom, stretching their necks until they fill the entire screen, ensuring that every squad member gets to enjoy the moment.

Although this Easter egg remained concealed for some time, a Reddit thread on November 1st brought it to light, resulting in a surge of players attempting to unlock the secret. While Nessie originally appeared as an Easter egg in the Titanfall series, her presence has extended to Apex Legends due to their shared universe. Nessie has been featured in various Easter eggs throughout the battle royale game, including seasons one, eight, and 14, where players could discover and interact with ten hidden Nessie plushies in Kings Canyon.

These plushies, when hit in a specific order, would summon a colossal Nessie in the Swamps area, providing a brief spectacle. Additionally, plushies have been scattered across other maps such as Broken Moon, Olympus, Overflow, and World’s Edge. The Firing Range alone contains 13 hidden plushies, some of which are quite challenging to locate.

However, this latest Easter egg featuring three Nessie plushies on the victory screen is by far the most peculiar appearance yet. It caught players off guard, as no one expected to witness the adorable creatures filling their screens in such a manner. This unexpected surprise has led some Apex players to speculate that there may be more to this Easter egg than meets the eye.

The speculation arises from reports of Nessie sightings in hidden areas of certain maps in Titanfall 2, another game developed by Respawn. With the presence of three Nessies in the Apex Easter egg, some players believe that Respawn may be hinting at the highly anticipated release of Titanfall 3. If this theory proves true, it would undoubtedly be monumental news for fans of Titanfall 2.
