FaZe Clan’s Twistzz doesn’t hold back in his criticism of CS2, even after his team’s victory in a $500,000 tournament. Instead of celebrating, the Canadian rifler takes to social media to express his concerns about the game.
One of the major issues Twistzz highlights is the responsiveness of CS2. He points out that his teammate ropz had previously commented on this matter. However, Twistzz focuses on the problem of ping in CS2. According to him, the ping in CS2 feels much higher than in CS:GO, making it more difficult to react and hold angles effectively. He mentions that with higher ping, he often has to prefire or risk getting killed before being able to shoot back. This inconsistency is something he hasn’t experienced in CS:GO.
Twistzz shares his thoughts on CS2 after playing the majority of the tournament with ping ranging from 40 to 80. He describes the game as feeling incredibly inconsistent, affecting movement, spraying, and hitting opponents. Despite his criticism, he includes a clip of himself winning a crucial round for FaZe against Virtus.pro in the Thunderpick tournament final, showcasing his love for the game and desire to improve it.
In addition to the ping issue, Twistzz also points out some questionable spots on Overpass and Ancient. On Overpass, there is an elevation change while walking over a shaft in the tunnels. As for Ancient, there is a random clipping issue in the house that can disrupt movement. These issues further contribute to the overall inconsistency and frustration experienced in CS2.
While the latest CS2 update has addressed some player concerns, it is clear that Valve still has work to do in order to meet the high standards expected by the community. Twistzz’s criticism serves as valuable feedback for the developers to consider in their ongoing efforts to improve the game.
