They mentioned that the wizard companion now repeats conversations about magic items, treats the player poorly despite having high approval, and still has a problematic interaction with another character named Raphael.
The player admitted to being a huge fan of Gale but found it increasingly difficult to maintain their enthusiasm due to the numerous bugs. They expressed confusion as to why Gale is the only character experiencing such significant issues.
Many other players on Reddit shared their own experiences with Gale. One player mentioned being unable to initiate a romance interaction with the companion due to the bugs, while others claimed unintentionally entering into a romance with him.
“It is frustrating. There have been numerous posts lately about people not being able to trigger the weave scene with him at all,” one player remarked.
During our playthroughs, we encountered similar situations with Gale. Personally, I recall numerous instances where he continuously flirted with my character, even though I had no romantic interest in him. This led me to distance myself from him and leave him at the camp, despite needing a wizard in my party.
