Bethesda Releases Bug-Fixing Update for Starfield

Tim Price

Bethesda has released a new update for Starfield, focusing solely on fixing bugs. The update, patch 1.7.33, addresses various issues such as graphical glitches and a frustrating bug related to ship inventory. While the update is brief, it aims to improve performance and enhance the overall player experience.

One of the major fixes in this update is for the Razorleaf’s Storage Container. Previously, players encountered a bug where items stored in the Razorleaf’s storage and weapons rack would disappear when switching ships. This issue caused frustration among players who lost valuable gear and items. Fortunately, this bug has now been resolved, allowing players to store their items in the Razorleaf without any issues.

Another significant fix is related to the Hand Scanner, an essential tool in the game. Previously, using the Hand Scanner would cause hitching, disrupting gameplay. This issue has been addressed in the update, ensuring a smoother experience for players.

The update also includes improvements to graphics quality. PC players will notice better lens flares, which were previously not appearing correctly. Additionally, Bethesda has fixed blurry texture issues and a problem with photosensitivity when scrolling through the inventory menu.

Here is the full list of fixes included in Starfield patch 1.7.33:

General Characters: Fixed an issue with character locations. Star Stations: Resolved labeling issue for player-owned ships. Vendors: Addressed accessibility of vendor’s full inventory.
Graphics AMD (PC): Fixed star lens flare appearance on AMD GPUs. Graphics: Addressed upscaling issue causing blurry textures. Graphics: Resolved photosensitivity problem in the inventory menu.
Performance Hand Scanner: Fixed hitching caused by the Hand Scanner. Various stability and performance improvements to prevent crashes and freezes.
Ships Displays: Fixed disappearing items on in-ship mannequins. Displays: Resolved item disappearance in Razorleaf Storage Containers and Weapon Racks when commandeering another ship.

Bethesda continues to prioritize player satisfaction by addressing bugs and improving the overall gameplay experience. With future updates, players can expect further enhancements and fixes to ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey through Starfield.
