Blizzard recently released Patch 10.1.7 for World of Warcraft, which included a refresh of the game’s holiday events. However, fans are disappointed with the changes made by Blizzard.
The holiday refresh included updates to Pirate’s Day, Brewfest, and Hallow’s End, but players feel that these changes were merely cosmetic and did not add much new content.
While Hallow’s End received some positive feedback for its Headless Horseman encounter, the other events were seen as lacking in substance. Players were hoping for a complete revamp of these events, with new quests, encounters, and rewards.
Instead, the updates mainly focused on adding rare Dragonriding drake customizations and a few cosmetic appearances. This left fans feeling underwhelmed and wanting more.
Many players expected a significant amount of new content, such as updated assets, achievements, and even new dungeons. However, the events remained primarily focused on farming for rare mounts and achievements that are only available during these specific holidays.
Unfortunately, it seems that Blizzard has checked off the box for holiday updates and may not revisit them for quite some time.
Overall, fans are disappointed with the lack of substantial changes in Blizzard’s holiday refresh and were hoping for a more significant update to these events.
