Teammates who quit Counter-Strike 2 early are causing bombs to vanish from servers. When a T-side teammate carrying the bomb disconnects, they take the bomb with them, leaving the remaining players at a disadvantage. This means that in order to win the round, all CT players must be eliminated before the timer runs out. The issue arises when AFK players disconnect, as their character models remain in spawn with the bomb attached to their back. Once they disappear from the server, the bomb also disappears, leaving only a flashing light where their body once was.
Normally, an AFK player would drop the bomb upon disconnecting to prevent such issues. However, in this case, the problem occurs even before the round begins. The player disconnects before the third round starts, yet the bomb remains attached to them. Even if the player returns before the round ends, the bomb is still missing.
These frustrating bugs have become increasingly common in the CS2 community over the past few months. Players have discovered ways to avoid flashbangs and have encountered visual bugs that set the ground on fire without causing any damage. Valve, the developer of CS2, has been actively addressing these issues by releasing multiple patches in November alone. These updates aim to fix visual, audio, and gameplay bugs, as well as introduce new features and make map changes. However, it seems that another bug has now emerged, and hopefully, Valve will address it promptly.
