Companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 Were Too Horny, Bug Fixed

superadmin

The companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 were shipped out with a bug that made them excessively horny, but this glitch has now been fixed. The bug allowed players to quickly engage in romantic relationships with their companions, which was not the original intention of the game. The bug has been corrected, making it take more time to romance companions and reducing their level of thirstiness. Despite the bug fix, players can still pursue romantic relationships with their companions, but it will require more effort and time.

In an interview with TheGamer, Swen Vincke, the director of Baldur’s Gate 3, explained that the companions were unintentionally made too eager for romance due to the bug. The approval ratings for romancing companions were set too low, allowing players to quickly engage in intimate encounters. The bug fix aligns with Larian Studios’ original intention of simulating real relationships, where players have to woo their partners before progressing further.

Although the bug fix has made romancing companions more challenging, it is worth noting that many of the companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 are polyamorous. Players can still pursue romantic relationships, but it will now take longer to build the necessary rapport and trust.

Despite the bug fix, players are encouraged to continue pursuing romantic relationships with their companions. The companions still view the player character as their oasis in the desert, but it will require more time and effort to reach that point in the game’s story.
