Players of Counter-Strike 2 have encountered a frustrating bug that prevents them from ending a round even after eliminating the entire enemy team. This bug was recently reported by a player named Laretus on Reddit. During a match on the map Ancient, Laretus and their team were leading 11-3 when they successfully eliminated all the CT players. However, the round did not end, forcing them to plant the bomb to finally conclude the round. In another instance, during round 15, the bug struck again, and the Terrorists had to take the bomb to A site and plant it to finally end the round. Although the clip does not show the bomb going off, it is assumed that the round concluded at that point. This bug is both bizarre and amusing, and it is the first time it has been observed in CS2.
Valve, the developer of CS2, has a track record of promptly addressing bugs highlighted by the community. Therefore, it is expected that this issue will be resolved soon. Despite this bug, the game has significantly improved since its launch in late September. Valve has been diligently working on updates and released a major patch on November 16, which addressed numerous issues and made improvements to all seven maps in the active pool.
