Get ready for a spooktacular time as Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost event returns with some exciting updates. Bungie has revealed the first details about this year’s event, and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever.
Haunted Sectors and Legend Haunted Sectors
The Haunted Sectors activity is making a comeback, but this time there’s a twist. Players can now choose to tackle the higher difficulty option called Legend Haunted Sectors. By braving the challenges of Legend mode, players will have a higher chance of earning a new event currency called Eerie Engrams. These engrams can be focused to obtain specific rewards, thanks to Eva Levante’s guidance.
Deterministic Rewards and Exotic Armor Focusing
Eva Levante has taken inspiration from Rahool and introduced deterministic rewards for Festival of the Lost loot. By spending 2500 Candy, players can access a wide range of Exotic armor, including those they haven’t earned before. This is a great opportunity to get your hands on elusive armor like the Osmiomancy Gloves or Renewal Grasp.
Eerie Engrams and Hocus Focusing
While you can still open Eerie Engrams individually for free, Hocus Focusing makes it easier to get the desired rolls on Festival of the Lost weapons before the event ends. This feature allows players to focus their engrams and increase their chances of obtaining the desired rewards.
Event-Limited Memento
For the first time, Destiny 2 introduces an event-limited Memento. This exclusive item will be a random drop from Eerie Engrams and may also be tied to event Triumphs. The Memento transforms your crafted weapon into a sleek black texture, resembling leather, adding a touch of style to your arsenal.
Insect-Themed Armor and Cosmetics
The community’s voted insect-themed armor for Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks will finally make its debut during Festival of the Lost. These creepy and cool Halloween skins will be available in the shop for both Silver and Bright Dust, allowing players to create a suitably eerie look for their Haunted Sector adventures.
Festival of the Lost kicks off on October 17th with the weekly reset and is expected to run for three weeks until November 7th. Get ready for a thrilling and chilling experience in Destiny 2’s spookiest event of the year!
