Diablo 4 season two is turning the game around, but there’s still one missing feature that’s making it a chore. Players are praising the devs for their efforts, but the lack of a loot filter is causing frustration.
A Diablo 4 player recently took to Reddit to ask if the game will ever get a loot filter, a long-requested feature. They shared a screenshot showing the overwhelming amount of dropped items, making looting a tedious task.
The community agreed, expressing their desire for a better way to filter through loot. With limited inventory space, players find themselves constantly salvaging or extracting affixes, teleporting back and forth to manage their loot.
Loot in Diablo 4 still feels like a job, which shouldn’t be the case in a game centered around obtaining better gear. Players pointed out that there are simply too many items dropping, rendering the rarity of loot meaningless. Rare items don’t feel rare, and legendary items don’t feel legendary.
In addition to a loot filter, players also want bigger inventories to avoid losing items. Currently, if you teleport out of an area and return, you might end up in a different instance without your loot, leading to frustration.
The loot filter has been a topic of discussion since season one, and while season two has brought improvements to Diablo 4, such as fixing the leveling system, there are still issues that need to be addressed. Players hope for a smoother looting experience with fewer dropped items and the ability to carry all their loot without the risk of losing it.
