Disappointment over Missing Agent Venom Suit in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Xavier Ward

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 offers a wide range of suits for Peter Parker and Miles Morales, but one suit is noticeably absent, causing disappointment among fans.

In the game, players can customize both Peter Parker and Miles Morales with various suits. However, there is one suit that cannot be worn despite being seen in the game.

During the story, Peter learns that his friend Harry Osborn has been saved from a life-threatening disease by wearing a Symbiote costume. This suit, which appears to be inspired by Agent Venom from the comics, is briefly worn by Harry before the Symbiote takes over.

Eventually, the Symbiote bonds with Peter and transforms him into Venom, becoming the main antagonist in the game. Unfortunately, this also means the end for the Agent Venom costume, leaving fans wondering why it wasn’t made available for Peter to wear.

While it makes sense from a story perspective, it would have been a nice addition to have the costume as a tribute to Harry’s heroic phase before he fully transformed into Venom.

Although players can still wear any unlocked Symbiote suit and use its powers after the separation from Peter, the Agent Venom suit remains inaccessible.

Perhaps future DLC or sequels to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will bring back the Agent Venom suit, giving fans hope for its return.
