The highly anticipated Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn expansion is heating up with the release of the final Merlin card in the Amethyst color. This new card, called Merlin, Goat, completes the cycle and offers exciting synergies with another powerful character, Madam Mim, Snake.

Merlin, Goat is an Amethyst-colored Storyborn, Mentor, and Sorcerer character. With a casting cost of four, this Inkable card boasts solid stats of 4/3. Its “Here I Come!” ability allows players to gain one Lore when they play Merlin, Goat and when he leaves the battlefield.
As a four-drop Inkable Character, Merlin, Goat is a reliable addition to any Amethyst deck. Its ability to gain Lore through entering and leaving play makes it even more valuable. When combined with Madam Mim, Snake’s bounce effect, Merlin, Goat becomes a formidable force on the battlefield.

Madam Mim, Snake is another new character from Rise of the Floodborn. This Amethyst-colored character can either banish itself upon entering play or return one of your characters to your hand. This bounce effect can be a game-changer, providing players with strategic advantages by returning characters to their hand.
The Four Merlin Lorcana Spoilers
Rise of the Floodborn introduces three other Merlin characters in the Amethyst color: Squirrel, Crab, and Shapeshifter. Each of these characters has unique abilities that benefit their controller upon entering and leaving play.
