CS:GO superstar dupreeh, who has won five Majors, has revealed that he has no interest in becoming an in-game leader like other Danish players. Despite his success, the 30-year-old believes he lacks the necessary skills for the role. In a recent interview, he stated, “The [IGL] role has never been my strong asset in Counter-Strike so I don’t think that would be a wise choice for me.”
Dupreeh has primarily played as an entry fragger throughout his career, relying on his mechanical skills. The IGL role, on the other hand, requires a different set of abilities and often extends a player’s career by focusing on strategy rather than individual performance. Despite this, dupreeh expressed his desire to continue playing professionally and dismissed the notion that being a father would hinder his plans.
“I don’t feel like I am finished,” he said. “Honestly, I am super addicted to the whole process of working with a team, continuing to get better, lifting trophies, and competing to be the best. A lot of people seem to think that whenever you turn 30 and you get a kid, there is definitely no room to play Counter-Strike and that’s definitely not the case.”
