Wong is an incredibly dangerous card in Marvel Snap. His Ongoing ability allows players to activate the On Reveal effects of their cards twice in the same location where Wong is played. As long as Wong remains on the board and his ability is not nullified by cards like Enchantress, Echo, or Rogue, players can continuously benefit from bonus On Reveal effect activations.
Odin, the king of Asgard, possesses the ability to trigger all On Reveal effects of cards placed in the same location as him. When combined with Wong, the result is an unstoppable combination, as demonstrated by Reddit user Alfa_Anakes.
In a post made on September 27th, the gamer showcased a flawless Wong and Odin setup. What made this play even more remarkable was that both cards were placed on Wong’s homecourt, Kamar-Taj.
Kamar-Taj enhances Wong’s ability, triggering all On Reveal effects four times. With the addition of Odin, chaos ensues.
The player executed a perfect Wong setup in Kamar-Taj and played Ironheart, a card that grants +2 Power to three friendly cards. This activated Ironheart’s ability four times, resulting in a total of 24 Power for their cards. However, with Odin and an additional copy of Wong, the true power surge occurred.
With all the aforementioned cards placed on Kamar-Taj, Ironheart’s ability was triggered a staggering 40 times. This gradually but devastatingly shifted the game in the player’s favor, ultimately leading to victory on all three locations and claiming the eight cubes at stake.
The post received over 670 upvotes from fans, along with praise from fellow community members. The lone Iceman on the right location proved to be a formidable force, outlasting the opponent’s four cards with a total of 28 Power.
