Evil Moments in Baldur’s Gate 3: Players Share Their Darkest Deeds

Tim Price

Baldur’s Gate 3 offers players unprecedented levels of roleplaying, allowing them to make choices that shape their character’s morality. While many players choose to be heroes, some have embraced their dark side and shared their most evil moments in the game.

Larian Studios, the developers of Baldur’s Gate 3, have done an excellent job with the game’s dialogue, providing options for obscure decisions and fleshing out the consequences. This has led to some players revealing their inner psychopaths through their choices.

One of the most notorious paths players can take is playing as the Dark Urge origin, which leads to unforgettable scenes of evil. However, others have taken advantage of the blank slate provided by Baldur’s Gate 3 to explore even greater depths of wickedness.

A Reddit post sparked a discussion on this topic, with hundreds of players sharing their evil stories. Some of these tales are particularly disturbing.

The original poster recounted a story where they gave Dame Aylin to Lorrokan in the final act of the game. They had previously liberated Dame Aylin and reunited her with Isobel, only to betray them in a shocking twist that ultimately led to Isobel’s murder by Lorrokan.

While this sequence of events is traumatic, other players shared even more harrowing stories. One player decided to turn Karlach into a Mindflayer and then betray them by literally stabbing them in the back.

There were many other stories of villainy, but the most chilling one came from Indercarnive. They described how they returned Scratch, the beloved camp dog, to their previous abusive owner. This act of cruelty surpassed any other evil deeds, including killing innocent people or betraying companions.
