Players using the Steam Deck to play CS2 on Steam are currently able to exploit a bug that allows them to see through smoke grenades while they are still active. This bug is causing the smoke grenades to not render for these players, giving them an unfair advantage over their opponents.
It appears that this bug is related to the Linux operating system, which is the default system on the Steam Deck. Many players running CS2 on the Steam Deck use Linux, and it seems that the system is not properly rendering the smoke grenades.
Multiple CS2 players have already reported this bug to Valve via Github, and it is expected that the developers will address and fix this issue soon. In the meantime, it is recommended to report any bugs encountered in CS2 to Valve via email, providing a clear description of the bug.
