FaZe Clan’s ropz has raised concerns about the prevalence of cheaters in Counter-Strike 2’s Premier mode. He believes that the issue is so significant that he would support the implementation of an “invasive” anti-cheat system to improve the overall experience. Ropz expressed his frustration on October 1, stating that cheating is a major problem in Premier games.
Ropz even went as far as offering his car, house, and access to his bank details to Valve, the developers of CS2, in exchange for an effective anti-cheat solution. However, ThourCS, another player, responded by suggesting that Valve has already invested significant time and effort into developing an AI-based anti-cheat system, implying that it may not be easy to address the issue.
Despite this, ropz emphasized the urgent need for a fix, as the prevalence of cheaters could drive players away and make the game miserable for everyone. Many players have echoed ropz’s sentiments, calling on Valve to prioritize addressing the cheating problem in CS2.
In our own experience playing CS2, we have encountered numerous cheaters in Premier games, both during the limited access stage and after the game’s release. These cheaters have significantly impacted the overall gameplay experience, using wall hacks and exhibiting suspicious behavior that suggests they have an unfair advantage.
While some players may claim to have faced cheaters after losing matches, the extent of cheating we have witnessed raises legitimate concerns. It is crucial for Valve to take action and find a solution to this problem promptly.
