Larian Studios has released a significant patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 that addresses more than 1,000 bugs, including a major fix for romance scenes involving shorter races. The update ensures that physical contact is properly made during kissing scenes, accounting for the height difference between characters and any uneven ground.
Patch Notes Highlights:
- Fixed Shadowheart’s romance scene in Act Three not playing
- Improved accuracy of Lae’zel’s underwear color reflecting dye used
- Fixed modesty filter issue for Dragonborn race
- Second patch with significant performance improvements coming soon
According to Larian Studios, players have already spent over 200,000 hours playing Baldur’s Gate 3 since its launch, which is equivalent to more than 22,000 years. The most popular class choice among players is Paladin, while the least-used class is Cleric. Humans and Elves are the most selected races, while Dwarf, Gnome, Githyanki, and Halfling are the least selected races.
All updates will also be applied to the PlayStation 5 version on September 6th and for Xbox when Baldur’s Gate 3 is released on Microsoft consoles.
