Fortnite is revolutionizing The Game Awards 2023 by bringing the event directly to players’ homes and consoles. This groundbreaking move allows gamers to participate in the awards and vote for their favorite community creations. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, players can now join the server and cast their votes in-game.
To make the voting experience even more exciting, Fortnite has scattered collectible trophies throughout the voting area. These trophies not only provide an XP boost but also encourage players to explore the island and collect them all.

Gamers can currently vote for the best Fortnite map of the year from a list of 10 community creations. This map can be accessed through the Island Code box in Fortnite’s Play tab. Unfortunately, voting is limited to this category only, and players won’t be able to vote for the other 31 categories in TGA 2023.
To experience the full TGA 2023 event, gamers can use the Epic launcher. However, Fortnite fans can still celebrate if their favorite battle royale game wins an award.
Fortnite has been nominated in the Best Ongoing Game category for 2023, competing against industry giants like Apex Legends and Genshin Impact. Although Epic was nominated in the same category last year, they lost to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIV.
In 2022, Epic received two nominations but was overshadowed by Square Enix in both the Best Ongoing Game and Best Community Support categories. This year, Fortnite fans eagerly await to see if the game can secure a victory. The winners will be announced on Thursday, Dec. 7.
Regardless of the outcome, Fortnite fans can take comfort in knowing that there will be a map winner within the server.
