Fortnite’s Dec. 2 BIG BANG Event: The Biggest Yet with Eminem and LEGO Collaboration

Tim Price

Fortnite’s upcoming event on December 2nd is set to be the largest and most exciting one yet, according to leaks from the battle royale community. With a massive 1.5GB update, this event will feature new skins, including one from rap superstar Eminem, as well as a collaboration with LEGO. It promises to be an extravaganza for Fortnite players.

In addition to the new skins, players can look forward to the introduction of Rhythm Mode and Racing Mode alongside Slim Shady. The event will kick off at 1:00 pm CT on the first Saturday of December, so make sure to mark your calendars.

However, due to the size of the event, some content will be disabled prior to its release. All Epic-made Fortnite experiences will be disabled at 11:00 am CT, followed by creator-made game modes and maps at 10:30 pm CT on the same day. This is necessary to accommodate the large file size of the update.

As for the Rhythm and Racing Mode, details have been kept under wraps by Epic Games. Leakers suggest that the event will be heavily inspired by games like Rocket League, but we’ll have to wait until December 2nd to find out for sure.

This collaboration with Eminem and LEGO is just another example of Fortnite’s ongoing trend of partnering with various companies and individuals to bring unique skins and experiences to the game. Players have expressed their excitement about the addition of Eminem, with many looking forward to using his signature abilities while wearing the Marshall Mathers attire. Fortnite continues to evolve and surprise its community, keeping the game fresh and exciting.

In 2023 alone, Fortnite has already had 33 collaborations with TV shows, movies, games, and sports stars like Lewis Hamilton. Characters like Omni-Man from Amazon Prime’s show Invincible have made appearances in the game, and there are likely more collaborations to come before the year ends. If next year follows the same pattern, players can expect a wide range of skins to choose from in the Fortnite store.
