Genshin Impact Version 4.1 Daily Commissions: A Game-Changing Improvement

Xavier Ward

Genshin Impact version 4.1 has brought about a significant change to the daily commissions system, making the game fun and exciting once again. Players no longer have to engage in repetitive tasks every day, as they now have the freedom to explore and complete various activities while still earning the same rewards.

Previously, players would receive four small quests as daily commissions, which quickly became a monotonous chore. However, with the new system, players can choose to complete story quests, collect oculi, participate in events, or open chests, all of which count towards their daily commissions.

This change has been well-received by the Genshin community, as it encourages them to explore the vast world of Teyvat. Players are now more excited to engage in quests, uncover hidden treasures, and immerse themselves in the game. Not only is this enjoyable, but it also helps them progress in their daily commissions and earn additional rewards.

It is commendable that HoYoverse has implemented quality-of-life features from their other games into Genshin Impact. Hopefully, future updates will address other player concerns, such as increasing Resin and introducing features similar to Reserved Trailblaze Power from Star Rail.

Date Player’s Comment
Oct. 3 “After the change, I’m looking forward to event unlocks and if there’s no events, I go explore a small area, grab a couple chests/oculuses.”
N/A Before the change, players would receive four small quests as daily commissions, and those quickly became a tedious “chore,” according to the OP.
N/A The new daily commission system is similar to what we have in Honkai: Star Rail but with even more freedom. You still have your four daily commissions but you can opt to complete story quests, collect oculi, play events, or open chests, and all that will count toward your daily commissions.
N/A The Genshin community agrees this is a great change that will encourage them to explore Teyvat way more. One player wrote: “I’ve been holding off exploring that region [desert] for a long time but now the new format low-key pushes me to explore.”
N/A Now players are more excited to actually play the game, do quests, and explore its vast world. Doing this is fun, has its own rewards, and helps you do your dailies for even more rewards. What’s not to like?
N/A It’s great to see that HoYoverse takes quality-of-life features from their other games and brings them to Genshin. Here’s to hope that one of the next features will be a long overdue Resin increase and something similar to Reserved Trailblaze Power that was recently added to Star Rail.
