Riot Games is releasing an exciting new update for Teamfight Tactics through Patch 13.22. This update, known as the “for fun” update, brings a range of buffs and reintroduces the popular Fortune Favor mode. Players can enjoy these enhancements while eagerly awaiting the official launch of TFT Set 10 Remix Rumble on November 21st.
Patch 13.22 Highlights
Here are the key features and changes included in TFT Patch 13.22:
Choncc’s Treasure: The Return of Fortune Favor
Fortune Favor makes its comeback in TFT as Choncc’s Treasure. In this special mode, there won’t be a Carousel round, and players will start with a random four or five-cost champion as their initial unit. All players in the lobby will have units with the same cost. Choncc will distribute loot Orbs after the Carousel round and throughout the game. Players who reach a health threshold of 50 will receive a large golden Orb with special items. Two new items, Choncc’s Prowler’s Claw and Choncc’s Rocket-Propelled Fist, have also been added.
New Player Onboarding Changes
Starting from Patch 13.23 with the release of TFT Set 10 Remix Rumble, new players who have played three or fewer non-tutorial games will have to queue into the normal mode. For their first three games, they will face off against bots that adapt to their skill level. Players who have played more than three games of TFT will not be forced into bot games unless they queue with a new player.
TFT System Changes
Patch 13.22 brings back the region Portals Scuttle Puddle and Beats By Scuttle. Additionally, Scuttle Dragon will drop an extra item along with more gold. An overtime buff has also been introduced. When reaching the overtime limit, TFT champions will gain an URF power-up that speeds up the round. The URF overtime buff no longer grants bonus ability power and attack damage but instead provides 10% more damage, 10% increased attack speed, 10% reduced healing/shielding (capped at 70%), and 10% reduced crowd control duration (capped at 70%).
Trait Changes
Several buffs have been applied to the Ixtal and Zaun traits, while the breakpoints for the Bruiser trait have been adjusted. The Bilgewater trait now has a damage amplification of 40/60/70/135%. The Bruiser trait breakpoints have changed to 2/3/4/6, with health adjusted to 10/12/45/80%. The Freljord trait’s maximum health true damage has increased to 10/18%. The Gunner trait’s attack damage per stack has been adjusted to 7/13/25%. The Ixtal trait’s Electric Stun duration has increased from two to three seconds, Stone duration increased to 10 seconds, Stone heal increased to 900, and Wind duration increased to 5/10 seconds with a 50/100% attack speed increase. The Zaun trait’s Adaptive Implant Omnivamp, AD, and AP have increased from 35% to 40%, while Adaptive Implant Overcharge amount increased to 60%. The Exoskeleton base healing has increased to 20%, Overcharge to 60%, Robotic Arm Overcharge to 30%, Shimmer Injector base attack speed and heal to 44%, and Virulent Bioware base damage to 20% and Overcharge maximum health to 6%.

Various champion buffs have been implemented in Patch 13.22, primarily focusing on mana adjustments. Notable buffs have been applied to one-cost champions Illaoi, Milo, Orianna, and Poppy. Two-cost champions Kassadin, Naafiri, Soraka, Taliyah, and Vi have also received buffs. Darius, Karma, and Rek’Sai among the three-cost champions have been adjusted.
