Players in THE FINALS are being stripped of their clothing due to a bug, leaving their bodies exposed on the main menu. The glitch randomly chooses one character model to strip, as seen in a Reddit image. However, there are no explicit body parts visible. While this bug may be a headache for developers, it does not affect gameplay and is likely to be patched before the official launch.
Interestingly, players are actually enjoying the bug and suggesting Barbie-themed cosmetics, albeit without clothes. Some players are even willing to pay for this kind of content, so it might be worth considering for the full release.
Aside from this visual glitch, there are other issues that need to be addressed before THE FINALS is released. The beta run has been plagued with cheaters, particularly from China, leading to calls for region-locking. Additionally, a glitch has been discovered that gives keyboard and mouse players an unfair advantage with controller aim-assist. These issues need to be resolved by the developers.
Embark Studios has been contacted for comment on this visual glitch.
