Hilarious Suggestions for Buffing VALORANT Agents (with a Catch)

Derek Morgan

The VALORANT community gets creative when it comes to agent abilities, and their suggestions for buffs and nerfs are no exception. In a recent Reddit post, users were challenged to share their ideas for buffing their main VALORANT agent, but with a twist. The catch was that the first person to reply would choose a nerf to balance out the buff. The result? A hilarious and entertaining thread that had us laughing out loud.

One of the top suggestions involved Kayo, with the buff being that he takes off his pants. Of course, the nerf suggestion took it to another level, with Kayo flashing everyone on his team with his robotic “schlong.” While definitely not something Riot Games would consider, it certainly brought a lot of laughs.

Another player had a “super buff” suggestion for Cypher, wanting him to be the strongest agent ever. Their idea was for Cypher’s camera dart to deal damage equal to that of an operator and explode like Raze’s ult when destroyed. As expected, the nerf suggestion brought it back down to reality, limiting the camera’s vision to only 10 meters and reducing its pixel quality.

There were also some more reasonable suggestions amidst the ridiculous ones. One player proposed a change for Yoru, allowing his fake teleport to make his clone teleport instead. It’s a clever idea that could add more trickster potential to Yoru’s kit. To balance it out, another player suggested reducing the clone’s flash time, which seems like a fair trade-off.

Another suggestion involved KAY/O’s knife, ZERO/point. The player proposed that it should not only suppress enemies but also reveal their locations, similar to Sova’s Recon Bolt. While this would be a strong buff on its own, the replies suggested a slower activation and recharge timer to balance it out.

Overall, this Reddit thread provided a mix of hilarious and reasonable suggestions for buffing VALORANT agents. While some ideas were clearly too over-the-top, there were also some that could potentially improve the gameplay experience. It’s always interesting to see the creativity and humor of the VALORANT community when it comes to agent abilities.
