Popular streamer IShowSpeed’s Twitch channel has mysteriously been unbanned, giving him the opportunity to extend his reach on the platform once again. While he has gained a massive following of over 20 million on YouTube since his ban earlier this year, the lifting of the suspension allows him to collaborate with Twitch personalities once more.
IShowSpeed’s Twitch profile became active again on October 10, with no streams or clips available yet. However, the channel no longer displays the message indicating a suspension. Despite his success on YouTube, it is unlikely that Speed will immediately return to streaming on Amazon’s platform.
The unbanning of his Twitch account not only allows IShowSpeed to stream on the platform but also enables him to collaborate with other Twitch streamers. It was during a stream with Adin Ross in December 2021 that Speed had an outburst leading to his initial ban. Despite calls from prominent Twitch creators for his account to be reinstated, it remained banned until now.
Twitch has expressed its willingness to reassess banned creators, and it seems that IShowSpeed was a top priority. Given his immense popularity and the potential impact of his return on the site, this decision is not surprising. Twitch, however, has not provided any public explanation for the unbanning.
If IShowSpeed shares any updates regarding this development, we will keep you informed. Stay tuned for more information on his return to Twitch.
