In a recent Reddit post, a player shared a clip showcasing a strange outcome of two Iso ultimates overlapping in VALORANT. This bug can result in both Iso players being pulled into a blank arena and ultimately dying.
The clip shows one player attempting to activate Kill Contract on the enemy Iso, but encountering a counter ult. When the shields dropped, both players found themselves in an empty arena with no opponent to fight against. Eventually, both players died when the ultimate’s timer expired.
The player speculates that the enemy Iso may have ulted their teammate, Chamber, while they ulted the enemy Iso. This confusion resulted in both players being pulled into separate blank ultimates.
While this bug may seem amusing, it raises concerns about game logic and fairness. Players in the thread blamed VALORANT’s server tick rate system for allowing the overlap to occur due to a delay on the enemy’s side. However, without an official explanation, it is difficult to determine the exact cause.
Although this bug is rare, it can be confusing and unfair. Riot Games should address and eliminate it before Iso becomes a part of VALORANT’s professional play meta. Such a bug could have serious consequences in an esports match.
