KRÜ Esports Reveals New Roster for VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 Season

Tim Price

KRÜ Esports, the underdog team that made waves in the VALORANT scene, has announced its roster for the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 season. With two new signings, the team is ready to take on the competition and continue their Cinderella story.

The core of the team, including Klaus, Melser, and keznit, will be staying together after their impressive performance in the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) in 2023. Despite a rough regular season, KRÜ managed to turn things around and secure their spot in Champions 2023 without dropping a single series.

Joining the team are rookie duelist mta and former Leviatán player Shyy. Mta, a promising talent from Chile, has shown his skills in the open qualifier for the Argentina Game Show tournament. Shyy, on the other hand, brings experience from his time with Leviatán and will reunite with his former teammates Melser and keznit.

The team’s journey to the LCQ and their subsequent performance in Champions 2023 raised questions about their future. However, tragedy struck when Daveeys, one of KRÜ’s players, passed away. This unfortunate event led to two open slots on the roster, which were filled by Shyy and mta.

While KRÜ didn’t make a big impact in Champions 2023, their unexpected run in the LCQ showcased their potential as a strong team. With the addition of Shyy and mta, the team aims to replicate their miracle run and make a name for themselves in the upcoming season.

Fans can get a sneak peek of mta’s skills as he continues to play for frequency in the offline tournament, Argentina Game Show, from October 13 to 16. KRÜ Esports is determined to fill the void left by Daveeys and build on their previous success, but it won’t be an easy task for the new additions.

Overall, KRÜ Esports’ new roster for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 season promises an exciting journey ahead. With a mix of experienced players and fresh talent, the team is ready to prove themselves once again and make their mark in the competitive VALORANT scene.
