After a challenging battle with leukemia, 100 Thieves content creator Kyedae joyfully announced that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment. While she still has more treatments ahead, reaching this milestone has filled her with excitement. During a recent Twitch stream, she shared the news with her fans, expressing her happiness as her hair starts to grow back and her nails begin to strengthen.
Kyedae typically keeps her health struggles private, preferring to be recognized for her skills rather than her hardships. However, given this positive update, she felt compelled to share the good news with her fans. Their overwhelming support and kind messages flooded in, demonstrating their unity and love for her.
One fan expressed their elation on Twitter, exclaiming, “Oh my god! Kyedae is off chemotherapy. I’m so happy for her. Her being off though is a huge improvement of her health! Any positive is huge.” Another fan simply stated, “Amazing news! I’m so happy.”
In March 2023, Kyedae received the diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and has been undergoing treatment since then. Initially concerned about the impact on her streaming schedule, she has shown incredible strength and resilience by streaming over 700 hours in just 115 days.
Following the completion of chemotherapy, Kyedae will likely undergo a bone marrow test, a common procedure for leukemia patients. This test will determine if there are only a few remaining cancerous cells, indicating that the leukemia is under control. Most individuals experience an improvement in their well-being after their first round of chemotherapy. If Kyedae does not experience this improvement, further treatments or a stem cell transplant may be necessary.
Currently, all signs point to a positive outcome for Kyedae. Her journey towards recovery is progressing well, and her fans continue to rally behind her every step of the way.
