Larian Studios is addressing a major bug in Baldur’s Gate 3 that has been preventing players from accessing around 1,500 lines of Minthara’s story. This bug occurs when specific conditions are met, resulting in players being locked out of important content.
Despite the game launching with minimal game-breaking bugs, there have been instances where bugs have disrupted the storyline and characters, such as Minthara. Found early on in the Goblin’s Camp, players have the choice to kill or side with her. Those who spared her should have been able to learn more about her backstory, but unfortunately, even they were affected by this bug.
The developers have now identified the bug and are actively working on a solution, which will be included in the second patch for Baldur’s Gate 3. This means that players who wanted to delve deeper into Minthara’s story or potentially romance her will finally have the opportunity to do so.
The release date for the second patch has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be released soon. Players can look forward to experiencing the full extent of Minthara’s story once the update is live.
