When will League Arena Patch 13.23 go live?
League Arena Patch 13.23 will be released on Wednesday, Nov. 22. The update will roll out across all major regions throughout the day, starting at 10am AEDT. There will be several hours of League server downtime during this process.
What’s changing in League Arena in Patch 13.23?
The upcoming League Arena Patch 13.23 focuses on balancing the game and making adjustments to Augments. There will be five item changes, 23 Augment tweaks, and various champion buffs and nerfs. Riot Games is particularly targeting powerful selections like Hellfire Hatchet and Plagubearer, as well as addressing the impact of Curse Augments on the metagame.
Riot plans a significant number of champion changes
Riot MadnessHeroo has promised a substantial shuffle to the League Arena metagame with numerous Mage and Fighter changes. While the specific adjustments have not been finalized, the development team is actively reviewing the code numbers to determine the initial targets for these changes.
Addressing outliers and the impact of Curses
To maintain balance in the metagame and prepare for the 2024 League season, Riot is addressing the overpowered nature of certain Augments and items.
