League of Legends Patch 13.21: Champions Buffed for Next Week

superadmin

The upcoming League of Legends Patch 13.21 will bring much-needed buffs to several champions, including K’Sante, Master Yi, Bel’Veth, and more. Riot Games has released the exact changes we can expect, with a total of eight champions receiving boosts next week.

According to Riot Games’ lead gameplay designer, Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison, who shared the changes on Twitter, all of the champions receiving buffs are currently ranked low in terms of performance. Tahm Kench is the highest performing champion in Patch 13.20, but even he only has a win rate of 49.55%.

Master Yi enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that his E ability, Wuju Style, will have a significant reduction in cooldown. This means that Yi will be able to deal bonus true damage more frequently. Despite having a win rate of only 47.98%, Master Yi remains one of the most popular champions in League.

Bel’Veth, who suffered from nerfs in Patch 13.20 after being at the top of the tier list, will also receive a substantial buff to her cooldowns. This will make the Empress of the Void a bit tankier through a cooldown reduction to her E ability, Royal Maelstrom. These buffs come alongside the upcoming buffs to AD junglers, as mentioned in the jungle AD buff preview.

K’Sante will see an increase in passive and ultimate damage, as well as an instant reset when combining All Out with his Q or E abilities. Additionally, various bugs and inconsistencies with tooltips and other glitches discovered after his mini-rework earlier this month will be fixed.

Hecarim will receive a bonus to AD growth and an extra second of duration to his Spirit of Dread ability, resulting in a slightly faster jungle clear. Morgana’s jungle build will also become more viable with a damage boost and monster modifier bonus on her key ability, Tormented Shadow.

Varus and LeBlanc will have their ability slow duration and AP ratio increased, respectively. Tahm Kench will deal slightly more passive damage based on his total health and receive a cooldown refund bonus on his W ability, Abyssal Dive, making him more mobile on the Rift.

League Patch 13.21 is set to roll out next week, but it will not be in play during the Worlds tournament. The major tournament will continue to use Patch 13.19 for the Swiss stage and playoffs.
