League of Legends has a vast roster of 165 champions, and it’s no surprise that players struggle against some of them. A recent Reddit post asked the community which champion they find the most challenging to play against, and the responses varied widely.
One player mentioned Swain, who was constantly targeted by an ally Blitzcrank, ruining their game as their team kept fighting in Swain’s ult. Other champions that players found difficult to play against included Nilah, Zilean, Galio, Kled, and Yorick.
Players provided specific reasons for their struggles. For instance, Galio’s damage can be unexpectedly high for a tank, catching opponents off guard. Some players even admitted to not knowing the abilities of rare champions like Nilah, making it difficult to counter them.
Each player had their own unique nemesis in League of Legends. Some struggled with mechanically complex champions, while others found simpler champions like Garen challenging due to their ability to quickly eliminate opponents.
Considering the game’s extensive champion pool, it’s impressive that no single champion was consistently mentioned as the most difficult to play against. However, if we were to go back in time before Yuumi’s rework, she would likely have claimed the top spot.
