Riot Games developers are prioritizing the overall health of the game with the upcoming Patch 13.20, set to be released in mid-October. This patch will include buffs for five champions who have been struggling recently. Jinx, Milio, Galio, Morgana, and Ziggs will all receive improvements to help them perform better in the game.
Jinx and Milio will be the main focus of this patch, as they have been struggling the most. Jinx’s attack damage and attack speed scaling have been significantly reduced in previous patches, resulting in a win rate below 50 percent for four consecutive patches. Milio has also fallen out of favor after receiving major nerfs, and a slight buff in the previous patch did not have a significant impact.
Galio has shown some improvement but still has room to grow, especially in his matchups against mages. The buffs to Galio will ensure that he remains balanced and does not become overpowered. Morgana and Ziggs, who have both been underutilized in the current meta, will also receive buffs to make them more viable options for players.
In addition to champion buffs, there will also be changes to items in Patch 13.20. Youmuu’s Ghostblade and Blighting Jewel will receive buffs to make them more competitive with other items in their respective categories. The goal is to provide players with more options and diversity in their item builds.
The exact details of the buffs and changes will be revealed later this week. Patch 13.20 is scheduled to go live on Tuesday, October 10th.
