League of Legends is gearing up for Season 14 with the release of Patch 13.22. While the balance cycle is slowing down, Riot Games has some meaningful changes in store for players. This update will include three buffs, seven nerfs, and three significant adjustments for certain champions. Additionally, the highly anticipated HEARTSTEEL skins from the boy band HEARTSEEL will be introduced. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming patch.
When will League Patch 13.22 go live?
League Patch 13.22 is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, November 8th. The update will be rolled out gradually across different regions, starting with Australia at 10am AEST. The release will continue throughout the day on major League servers. Please note that there will be several hours of server downtime during the staging process, and matchmaking will be disabled three hours before the update goes live.
What’s in League Patch 13.22?
The League developers are focusing on addressing outliers in the metagame as Season 14 approaches. They aim to balance champions like Dr. Mundo and Rammus, who are currently considered weak, as well as champions like Tahm Kench, Senna, Kassadin, and Nilah, who are deemed too strong. In total, we can expect around a dozen changes in this patch, including buffs, nerfs, and adjustments for Seraphine, Janna, and Brand.
Janna, in particular, is receiving adjustments due to concerns that she has become unfun to play. Riot Games wants to improve the overall experience for Janna players based on their metrics.
Furthermore, the popular music group HEARTSTEEL is making its debut in League of Legends. With their explosive single “PARANOIA,” they have gained significant attention. As a result, Riot is releasing a set of awesome skins for the members of HEARTSTEEL, including Aphelios, Ezreal, Kayn, K’Sante, Sett, and Yone. Yone will also receive a prestigious Prestige skin that can be unlocked with 2,000 Worlds tokens. Additionally, Ekko will receive a revamped True Damage skin.
