Insider Gaming reports that the majority of maps in CoD 2024 will be remasters of older Black Ops maps, similar to how Modern Warfare 3 featured remakes of maps from the original Modern Warfare series. However, it is unclear in what format these old maps will return.
Fans on social media have expressed their excitement about the return of WMD and Grind, with one fan mentioning that if the spawns are improved, the map Grind will be a great addition. This opens up the possibility for other popular locations like Launch or Summit to make a comeback as well.
