Earning vast sums of Pokédollars in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is easier than you think. With a few key items and a powerful Sylveon, you can rake in the cash. Here’s how:
Step 1: Get a Powerful Sylveon
To start, you’ll need a Sylveon. You can either evolve an Eevee or catch a wild Sylveon. If you choose to evolve Eevee, make sure its friendship is maxed out and it knows at least one Fairy move. Raise Eevee to level 25, and you’ll have a Sylveon. Alternatively, search for a wild Sylveon in Alfornada or West Province Area Three.
Step 2: Boost Sylveon’s Stats
Next, raise all of Sylveon’s stats (except Attack) as high as possible. Use items like Calcium, Genius Feathers, Iron, Carbos, and Modest Mint. Give Sylveon an Ability Patch to learn its hidden ability, Pixelate. This ability turns Normal-type moves into Fairy-type moves and gives them a 30% power boost.
Step 3: Max Out Sylveon’s Level and Stats
Use rare candy to level up Sylveon to 100 or train it the traditional way. Once Sylveon reaches max level, take it to Hyper Training and boost all its stats (except Attack). This will make your Sylveon incredibly powerful.
Step 4: Equip Sylveon with an Amulet Coin
To maximize your earnings, give Sylveon an Amulet Coin. You can obtain this item by defeating five trainers in Area Three’s West Province and claiming it from the Pokémon League representative.
Step 5: Obtain TM 117, Hyper Voice
The key move for winning battles and earning money is TM 117, Hyper Voice. Make sure Sylveon learns this move.
Step 6: Start the Academy Ace Tournament
Head to the Pokémon Academy and begin the Academy Ace Tournament. Use Sylveon’s Hyper Voice to one-hit-kill every opponent and earn around 26,000 Pokédollars per battle.
Step 7: Automate the Process (Optional)
If you have a turbo controller, you can make the money-making process automatic. Set Sylveon’s Hyper Voice as the first move, ensure Sylveon is the only Pokémon in your party, and activate Turbo A at the Ace Academy Tournament clerk. Sit back, relax, and watch the money roll in. Without a turbo controller, you’ll need to mash the A button constantly.
