Get ready for the next season of Marvel Snap, perfectly timed with the release of The Marvels movie on November 10th. The new season, titled Higher, Further, Faster, has just debuted with a chill lo-fi track and a few exciting card reveals.
The first card revealed is Ms. Marvel, who brings a powerful Ongoing ability to the game. When played in the middle location, her unique cost cards will grant adjacent locations +5 power. With a power of five, she’s definitely a strong contender.
Next up is Gladiator, whose On-Reveal ability adds a card from your opponent’s deck to their side of the location. If it has less power than Gladiator, it gets destroyed. This seven-power card is sure to make an impact.
Martyr is the third card revealed, and she brings a truly unique ability to the table. She will willingly move to a spot that guarantees your loss, if possible. With a power of four, she’s a force to be reckoned with.
Annihilus emerges from the negative zone with an On-Reveal ability that sends your zero or negative power cards to the enemy’s side of the location. If they can’t move, they meet their demise. This eight-power card pairs well with Sentry and The Hood.
But that’s not all! The new season also introduces slick Peach Momoko variants for Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Spectrum, the main characters in The Marvels. Two new locations, the Noor Dimension and Tarnax IV, bring exciting gameplay elements to the mix.
In the Noor Dimension, playing a card will summon a Djinn into your hand. And on Tarnax IV, every card played will transform into a similar card with the same cost. Get ready for an epic season starting in early November!
